[future] African Female Founders in Tech

Calling all current or aspiring women entrepreneurs! This one’s for you.

We're partnering with the European Business University (EBU) of Luxembourg to bring an excellent learning opportunity to African youth— especially women— who wish to build the skills needed to be successful entrepreneurs.

The European Business University has put together a 13-week programme, with 10 courses focused on digital, tech and entrepreneurship skills. Check it out on the EBU Website. :

What’s the cost?

The Luxembourg government is sponsoring scholarships for exceptional young African women with business acumen, valued at 750 euro each.  However, successful candidates will have to pay a ‘commitment free’ of 20 euros for the programme. You will be required to make this payment directly to EBU using the unique coupon code.

FYI: 20 Euros in:

  • South African Rands: 350

  • Kenyan Shilling: 2,600

  • Nigerian Naira: 9,440

The course will start in June 2022. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, accepting applications until March 30th.

How do I apply:

  1. We want to hear about your tech entrepreneurship ambitions and successes. You'll need to motivate why YOU are a good candidate for the opportunity in two short 150-word questions (see questions below to prepare your answers).

  2. You’ll also have to complete the ACN aptitude test to show us your problem solving, logic and reasoning skills.

Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis. Successful candidates will be notified before the start of April.

Does this sound like an opportunity for you?

As youth unemployment grows across Africa, entrepreneurship offers hope. We're excited to work with EBU to support the next generation of female founders to turn this hope into opportunity.  Will you be leading the change?

Application Questions:

We believe that youth are the changemakers of the future. Economic growth in Africa, and the subsequent expansion of work opportunities and improved livelihoods needs to come out of Africa itself. Entrepreneurship is considered a key vehicle for this growth, and youth is its driving force.

We know that being an entrepreneur can be challenging. Moreover, creating something that is sustainable and could potentially support communities around us can seem impossible. But, we also believe that Africa has the talent to see real change happen.
